Drone Flying Around Heritage Lake

Spring must be here . . . drones are back flying around Heritage Lake.

Recreational drones must be flown within Transport Canada's Rules & Regulations. Here is a link to Transport Canada's Drone Rules & Regulations for your information: https://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/civilaviation/opssvs/flying-drone-safely-legally.html.

Another TC link is for recreational flyers that might be of interest is: https://www.tc.gc.ca/media/documents/ca-opssvs/Flying_for_fun_EN-V8.pdf.

Here is some information on how to report a drone incident: https://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/civilaviation/opssvs/report-drone-incident.html.

Please be aware that the HOA has absolutely no jurisdiction in controlling how drones are flown in the community as it's under Federal law.

Contact your local police department or dial 9-1-1 immediately if someone is flying a drone in a way that poses a threat to safety, security, or privacy.
