The Lake at Heritage Pointe Owners Association is closely monitoring developments related to COVID-19 and are following guidelines from provincial authorities.
Alberta has declared a state of emergency under the Public Health Act, which means that the Lake House must now be closed to all public access.
In light recently enacted Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) restrictions on public gatherings, we would like to be very transparent as to what this means to our facility and amenity users in the coming months.
CMOH Order 02-2020 mandated that “. . . all persons in the Province of Alberta are prohibited from attending the following locations or places . . . public recreational facilities, including community centres”.
These mandated orders mean that the entire Lake House, including the beach and sport court are off limits to the general public.
As a direct result, we have disabled the Lake House and Sport Court card readers to public access.
The community pathway system is currently not affected by this decision, so you can still use your access cards and phone app to gain entry.
If you are out for a walk, please ensure that you maintain the 2m (6’) physical distancing requirement.
We continue to work closely with our provincial and local partners and are taking these important steps to ensure that you and our community stay protected.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please feel free to contact our Community Manager Don Waldorf at (403) 660-5334 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
